Disclaimers & Risk Disclosures

Last updated: July 18, 2026

These Disclaimers and Risk Disclosures apply to https://plainstreet.co, to our invite-only strategies on the TradingView platform, and to all content we publish anywhere — including social media posts, videos, emails, and free resources. Plain Street is a service of Almaril Tech LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. This page supplements, and is incorporated into, our Terms and Conditions of Service and Website Terms of Use; it does not modify them.

01Educational and Informational Purposes Only

Everything Plain Street publishes — on this website, in our TradingView scripts and their outputs, and in any video, post, email, or other content on any platform — is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. Nothing we publish constitutes investment, financial, legal, tax, or accounting advice; a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, futures contract, or other instrument; or an offer or solicitation of an offer to do so.

Plain Street is not registered as an investment adviser, is not registered with the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission in any capacity (including as a commodity trading advisor), is not a member of the National Futures Association, and is not a broker-dealer or futures commission merchant. Our strategies are impersonal, standardized software tools that apply the same pre-programmed rules for every subscriber; they cannot take your personal circumstances into account, and no fiduciary, advisory, or client relationship is created by your use of them or by any interaction with us.

02You Are Responsible for Your Own Decisions

All trading and investment decisions — including whether to use any strategy, which instruments and contracts to trade, position sizing, risk management, and order execution — are made independently by you and at your own risk. You should consult your own licensed financial, legal, and tax advisors before trading and should not trade instruments you do not understand.

03Futures and Leverage Risk

Trading futures, options, foreign exchange, and other leveraged instruments involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every person. Leverage can work against you as well as for you; prices can move rapidly and can gap through protective orders; and you can lose substantially more than your initial margin or investment. Trade only with risk capital — money you can afford to lose in its entirety without affecting your lifestyle or obligations.

04Hypothetical and Backtested Performance

Unless expressly identified as verified live results, all performance figures we display — on this website, on TradingView, or in any content — are backtested or simulated.

CFTC RULE 4.41 — HYPOTHETICAL OR SIMULATED PERFORMANCE RESULTS HAVE CERTAIN LIMITATIONS. UNLIKE AN ACTUAL PERFORMANCE RECORD, SIMULATED RESULTS DO NOT REPRESENT ACTUAL TRADING. ALSO, SINCE THE TRADES HAVE NOT BEEN EXECUTED, THE RESULTS MAY HAVE UNDER- OR OVER-COMPENSATED FOR THE IMPACT, IF ANY, OF CERTAIN MARKET FACTORS, SUCH AS LACK OF LIQUIDITY. SIMULATED TRADING PROGRAMS IN GENERAL ARE ALSO SUBJECT TO THE FACT THAT THEY ARE DESIGNED WITH THE BENEFIT OF HINDSIGHT. NO REPRESENTATION IS BEING MADE THAT ANY ACCOUNT WILL OR IS LIKELY TO ACHIEVE PROFITS OR LOSSES SIMILAR TO THOSE SHOWN.

Hypothetical trading does not involve financial risk, and no hypothetical record can fully account for the impact of financial risk in actual trading — including the ability to withstand losses and to adhere to a program through drawdowns, both of which can materially and adversely affect real results.

Backtested figures are additionally subject to the assumptions of the simulation engine used — including bar-level simulation, modeled fills, and estimated commission and slippage inputs — and do not reflect live market effects such as latency, queue position, partial fills, rejected orders, exchange halts, or data feed differences. Your live results will differ from backtested results, potentially materially. Past performance, whether actual or simulated, is not indicative of future results. The full "Risk Disclosure" and "Hypothetical and Backtested Performance" sections of our Terms apply to everything we publish.

05Live and Forward-Tested Results

Where we display results identified as live or forward-tested, they reflect the performance of a specific account, over a specific period, under specific conditions — including account size, broker, data feed, settings, and the degree of oversight applied. Such results are individual, include the effect of periods when strategies were paused or reconfigured, are not typical, and are not a promise or prediction that you will achieve similar outcomes. Live performance can and does include losing periods and drawdowns.

06Automated Trading and Technology Risk

Our strategies may generate alerts that can be routed to third-party automation, webhook, or brokerage services. Any such automation is undertaken entirely at your own risk. Technology can and does fail: platform outages, connectivity losses, latency, configuration errors, and duplicated, delayed, or missed orders can all occur and can cause losses. Automated does not mean unattended. You are responsible for correctly configuring and testing any setup — we strongly recommend validating in a simulated environment first — and for monitoring your positions, orders, and connections, with the ability to intervene manually at all times.

07Proprietary Trading and Funding Firms

Plain Street is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or partnered with any proprietary trading, evaluation, or account-funding firm. We do not guarantee that using our strategies will result in passing any evaluation, receiving or retaining any funded account, or receiving any payout. Such firms set, interpret, and change their own rules — including rules on automated trading, consistency, and conduct — and account decisions, rule changes, and payout determinations are at those firms' sole discretion. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of our strategies complies with the rules of any firm whose accounts you trade. Any firm names we mention are for identification only and do not imply any relationship or endorsement.

08Third-Party Platforms

Our strategies are delivered via TradingView, an independent third-party platform. Plain Street is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TradingView. We do not control TradingView's availability, data, pricing, or policies, and access may be affected by its outages, maintenance, or changes. TradingView plans and exchange data fees are your responsibility. Any brokers, bridges, or automation tools you use are services you select and contract with directly; we are not a party to those relationships. All third-party names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

09Testimonials and Member Results

Any testimonials or descriptions of subscriber results we display reflect individual experiences, are not representative of all subscribers, and are not a guarantee or indication of your future results. Consistent with FTC guidance, we will disclose any material connection with, or compensation provided to, any endorser.

10Our Own Trading

Plain Street's principals actively trade their own accounts and may trade the same, similar, or different instruments and strategies at any time, without notice, and with results that are individual and not typical. Nothing about our own trading is a representation about yours.

11Jurisdiction

Our services and content are not intended for distribution to or use by any person or entity in any jurisdiction where such distribution or use would be contrary to law or regulation, or which would subject Plain Street to any registration requirement within such jurisdiction. You are responsible for compliance with the laws that apply to you.

12Assumption of Risk

By accessing our website, content, or services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Disclaimers and Risk Disclosures, that you accept full responsibility for your trading decisions and their outcomes, and that you assume all risks associated with trading, including the risk of substantial financial loss. The complete terms governing our services are set out in our Terms and Conditions of Service and Website Terms of Use.
